CHALLENGE

The Challenge!

200km The length of the River Thames

from the navigable source in Lechlade to the tidal divide at Teddington

Straight through or team stages. You pick if you want to go it alone in singles or doubles, or if you pull together a team to take on the Thames. If you are going straight through you can pick up support to re-stock and re-fuel at the checkpoints.

If you are completing the challenge as a team then you can change the craft or crew as many time as you like, BUT the changes MUST only take place at the official change over points at the designated Checkpoints

  • 2 doubles & 1 car, switching at each check point?

  • Relay team of 6

Straight Through

  • Start your GPS tracking and take on the whole of the River Thames!

  • Use our check points to motivate and re-fuel and keep pushing until you reach Teddington!

All craft will set off on their adventure together from Lechlade. At 14:00 on Saturday 24th August the event begins and the clock starts ticking for everyone!

Checkpoint Support

Water, energy drinks and food, along with hot drinks will be provided to re-fuel you and get you through the next section of the Thames. The aid station stepping stones give you all the support you need to take on this epic adventure.

Change your craft or crew at these points, pass on the relay baton and support your team.

A great opportunity for friends and family to meet up and cheer on their crews.
